The site had historic World War II association on which five flats, three four-storey detached houses, two three storey detached houses, three mews houses and a garage block with flat over were built on and named after aircraft. The site was sloping with basement construction and reinforced retaining walls, and completed to a high standard with storm and foul water pumping stations, landscaping and access roads.
