Private Housing Projects: Chesham Bois, Bucks
A striking house designed with the client’s particular needs in mind incorporating an indoor pool, a lift to all three floors and an almost entirely glazed rear elevation overlooking the Chilterns. The architect, for whom it was the first solo project, when interviewed for a feature in the Prince of Wales’ magazine “Perspectives on Architecture” said, “I am enormously indebted to the builders Gullett & Sons... I would like you to mention that; they were wonderful”.
