Contracting
Our many successful years as main contractors have given us the experience to tackle almost any type of construction project. We take a proactive approach to project management with an emphasis on working with all other parties as a team.
Our considerable expertise in traditional building methods combined with an openness to new ideas have been of great value in working with new technologies and “green” construction methods.
Design and Build
We offer this facility in collaboration with local designers as an alternative to traditional contracting. We apply our construction experience to the design process in order to achieve the client’s goals at the lowest possible cost. We have particular expertise in social housing having designed and built a number of schemes for Housing Associations.
Developments
With our expertise in house building we have carried out a number of developments.
We have purchased land ourselves and have also worked in collaboration with developers or private individuals in joint ventures to realise the potential of suitable development land.
“Going Green”
The continuing development of environmentally friendly technologies is proceeding apace. We are gaining expertise in many of these new green construction techniques.
To date we have installed solar powered heating and hot water systems, photovoltaic systems, air source heat pumps, grey water recycling systems, permeable paving and stormwater attenuation systems. We have extensive experience in achieving both “Eco Homes” and “Code for Sustainable Homes” certification.
“Green” does not always mean new. Our expertise includes traditional methods of construction such as oak framed structures and breathable flooring. We are able to provide chain of custody for all the timber we use.
